How to withdraw money from Sportpesa via SMS

After winning, you are required to withdraw the money. Sportpesa has the option of withdrawing the money via SMS.

For example if you want to withdraw KSH 4000 from your SportPesa account you will:

SMS to 79079; W#4000 – where W stands for Withdraw, 4000 is the amount of money you wish to withdraw. Note: The withdrawal format is standard across all mobile money service providers. i.e M-Pesa, Airtel Money.

You will receive a confirmation message from 79079 and Your Mobile Money account (M-Pesa, Airtel Money, etc) will be credited, and a second confirmation SMS to this effect will be sent to you by your mobile service operator.

Sportpesa jackpot tax

The tax on winning is charged at Sportpesa.After winning, the company will deduct 20% of the money. Assuming that you won Ksh 10,000, the 20% of Ksh 10,000 is Ksh 2,000. You will withdraw Ksh 8,000 only.

How to place a Mega Jackpot Pro Bet with Combinations

You can also make Double or Triple Combinations on your Mega Jackpot Pro bet. This makes it simple to make multiple Jackpot bets at once instead of repeating the same sequence many times if you want to place more than one MJP Pro bet.

To do a double combination, select two outcomes on one game. 
Example 1, if you wish to make double combinations on 3 MJP Pro games, you will have placed 8 MJP Pro bets in total. i.e. 2^3 (2*2*2=8 MJP Pro bets)

To make a triple combination, select 3 outcomes on the same game. 
Example 2, if you wish to make triple combinations on 3 MJP Pro games, you will have placed 27 MJP Pro bets in total. i.e. 3^3 (3*3*3=27 MJP Pro bets)

Combination limits:
•    Doubles combination has a maximum of 10 games selection
•    Max 5 Triples combination has a maximum of 5 games selection

How to place a Jackpot Bet with double combinations

Step 1

Log into your SportPesa account and click on the Jackpot banner at the top of your screen.

Step 2

A Double Combination bet on the Jackpot (JP) simply makes it easier to make multiple bets at once instead of repeating the same sequence many times if you want to place more than one JP bet via the website.

This allows you to place a bet with two predictions on a single game, on up to 7 games from the listed 13 JP games in one bet! Just click on the two predictions you would like to make. E.g (1 and 2,or 1 and X, or 2 and X)

For example, if you wish to make 2 predictions on 3 JP games, you will have placed 8 JP bets in total. i.e. 2^3 (2*2*2=8 JP bets)

A bet slip will appear with all your predictions for the 13 JP games.

On the bet slip, you will also be able to see the number of combinations made. You can only play double combination on up to 7 JP games.

You will also see the total amount you will need to stake for the number of combinations made. Each JP bet costs KSH 99.

How to cancel a bet on Sportpesa

Once placed through the Website/App, a Single/Multi/Jackpot bet may be cancelled as provided under clause 5.2.

To cancel a bet online:
-Go to your bet history
-Select the bet you wish to cancel
-Click the cancel bet option

The record of this transaction will be reflected in your account.

Note that: 
-You can only cancel a bet within 10 minutes of placing it and before any game from your bet kicks off.
-You are limited to a maximum of three(3) bet cancellations per day.
-You can cancel a prematch Single Bet and/or Prematch Multi Bet via SMS, the Website, USSD or Android/iOS App.
