Sportpesa midweek and mega jackpot are not available this week but their Tanzania and UK subsidiaries are operating. News from the company states that the management has agreed over tax issues but disagreed on one thing, the 20% tax. The court ruling is scheduled on 19 September 2019 and the outcome will give direction in what will happen in future.
Sportpesa mega jackpot stands at Ksh239 million while the midweek is at Ksh37 million. When the company will be allowed to continue with operations, the amount will scale upwards until a winner is realized.
Since July 20 this year, the company has lost over Ksh 2 billion in revenue, the losses continue to accumulate as business remain grounded. Workers have also been notified that they might be dismissed any time from now.
For now, the available jackpots are Betika and Shabiki, Betlion is also available but it’s not a good one. However, most gamblers took a break as they wait for Sportpesa to resume operations.
