“Admin please approve my post. On January I was given a loan of Ksh 300,000 from my Sacco. I wanted to buy boda boda and also finish my house at home. But the problem started when I began playing Aviator.I was introduced by a friend.

The first day was okay because I played and won Ksh 1,200. The second day I lost Ksh 2,500. From there I started playing daily. I would wake up at 4 am,play until 8 am and then rush to woek.Even at work I was still playing.

I became so addicted that I used to wake up even at night,I leave my wife in bed and go to the toilet to play. The situation became worse when I was warned at work for not being effective.

For the past 4 years,I have been playing this game and lost Ksh 299,000. As I write this,I am remaining with just Ksh 1,000 of the loan I was given. I have not purchased the motorcycle nor finished my house. I feel empty.I don’t know how I will repay the loan which I didn’t use for the intended purpose. Please help me on what to do.

The best thing it that you have acknowledged that you have messed up yourself. Aviator is addictive game and you are not the only one affected. From today start the process of quitting. The first thing to do is to throw away or sell your smartphone and replace it with a phone without internet and Apps. You should also delete all the betting Apps in your phone. Then look for a different hobby to keep you busy.

One thing you should know is that you MUST pay your loan. Assume that the money was stolen and just pay. It’s the price you pay for being a gambler.
